About
My name is Alessandra. I am a Counselling Psychologist and currently training in Narrative Constructivist Psychotherapy at the Narrative Constructivist Institute of Padua.
I am registered with the Order of Psychologists of Lombardy (no. 28070) and, in the United Kingdom, I am a registered Counselling Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), a Graduate Member of the British Psychological Society (BPS), and a Student Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP)
I have lived and continue to have life experiences abroad, and I am interested in topics related to parenting and life transitions.Â
I believe that a counselling journey provides a safe space to explore and better understand ourselves, with the opportunity to create new narratives of our experience.

The constructivist approach
Exploring the world through one’s own lens
The hermeneutic constructivist approach is based on a fundamental principle: Each of us constructs our own reality through experience, relationships, and the meaning we assign to the events in our lives. There is no single absolute truth, but multiple ways of interpreting the world.
A journey of re-discovery
The constructivist approach aims to understand how people construct their personal narrative.. In this journey, through dialogue, I help the individual, couple, or family to give new meaning to their experiences, exploring alternative routes to face one's difficulties and challenges
Re-writing our own narrations
If you feel trapped in repetitive patterns or in a version of yourself that no longer represents you, the constructivist approach can help to redefine your personal narrative and open new paths for the future.
